Does home organisation involve renovation?
No. I work with your existing space. No building work or renovation is required.
Do I need to buy new furniture?
Not necessarily. In many cases, we use what you already have and simply reorganise it in a more functional way. If additional organisers are needed, they are chosen carefully and only when they genuinely add value.
Can I organise just one room?
Yes, absolutely. You can book my services for a single room, such as a kitchen, wardrobe, home office or storage area.
Why should organisation be combined with decluttering?
Organisation works best when it is preceded by decluttering. If excess items remain, even the most well-designed storage systems will quickly stop working. Decluttering allows you to keep only what you truly need, after which every item is given a clear and logical place. This makes maintaining order much easier in the long term.
Is home organisation the same as interior design?
No. Interior design focuses on aesthetics such as furniture layout, colours and décor. Home organisation focuses on functionality, ergonomics and creating systems that support your everyday life and help you maintain order.
Can I book a consultation only, without further collaboration?
Yes. You can choose a one-off consultation and receive a clear, practical action plan that you can implement independently.
How long does a consultation take?
Typically between 1 and 3 hours, depending on the size of the space and the scope of the project.
Are online consultations effective?
Yes. Using photos and video calls, we can analyse your space and create a detailed, practical plan. Online consultations work particularly well when time is limited or for smaller projects.
Do I have to throw everything away?
No. You always decide what stays. Decluttering is about making conscious choices and keeping what truly serves you — not about getting rid of things unnecessarily.
How long does decluttering take?
It depends on the size of the space and amount of items which you have. For example, a kitchen usually takes around one full day.
Do you help with purchasing organisers?
Yes. I can recommend, select and order suitable organisers that match your space, needs and budget.
What is the difference between decluttering and cleaning?
Cleaning focuses on tidying and washing surfaces. Decluttering is a deeper process of reducing excess belongings and creating systems that make it easier to stay organised over time.
What is the difference between space organisation and cleaning?
Organisation goes far beyond cleaning. It is a comprehensive process of designing functional storage systems tailored to your lifestyle and daily routines, so order lasts - not just until the next tidy-up.
Do I need to be present during the organisation process?
It depends. For personal spaces such as wardrobes or paperwork, your presence is recommended, as you make the final decisions. For shared areas, once clear guidelines are agreed, you don’t need to be present throughout. An initial consultation and final review are always essential.
Will I be forced to get rid of most of my belongings?
Absolutely not. My role is to support you in making thoughtful decisions, not to pressure you. Together, we identify what genuinely adds value to your life and create systems to support what you keep. Items you no longer need can be sold, donated or recycled.
Will I be able to maintain order after the project?
Yes, that is one of the main goals of my work. I teach simple habits and systems tailored to your lifestyle, making it easier to maintain order with minimal effort. Follow-up sessions are available if adjustments are needed.
Is professional home organisation worth the investment?
Yes. It offers value in many ways:
  • You save time looking for items
  • You avoid duplicate purchases
  • You can sell or donate unused belongings
  • Your buying habits become more intentional
  • Your home becomes calmer and more functional
What is decluttering, and do I need it?
If you feel overwhelmed by clutter or unsure where to start, decluttering may be exactly what you need. Together, we reduce excess, clarify what matters and create a calmer, more supportive living environment.
Is home organisation really that important?
Yes. A well-organised home helps you feel calmer, saves time, protects your belongings and supports everyday routines. Knowing that everything has its place brings clarity and peace of mind.
